With the new Windows App 1.76 I'm getting lower credits !?!

With app 1.75 I had 6.2 to 6.4 Credits/h and now I only get 5.86 Credits/h - why?

Nothing has changed in the credit system, but it looks like credits for 1-2 samples are missing. Perhaps there's a bug which was hard to notice with very short sampling time, I'll take a look at this.

I verified the granted credits manually. For the 1.76 app they're accurate up to 3rd digit after the dot.

It's the earlier app that actually has a problem, I think it is caused by rounding - 6x more samples -> 6x more float operations on small numbers, so there has to be some inaccuracy.

Since the difference is rather small, for now I'll leave it as is. After migrating all platforms to the new app, I'll increase the credit multiplier to bring the credits back to old values.

EDIT: There's actually a bug in the app, it runs until num_samples * sample_time = run_time (from prefs), but the actual number of samples is always num_samples - 1, so with the current setup there are 4 minutes missing at the end of each workunit.

Temporary solution: set the runtime higher, so the 4 minutes will have less impact on the overall results.

Yep, the 1.77 was just released for Win a while ago. The only change is that the wait time after the last sample was removed.
