Hello,
Data of 6854 detector progress without explanation.
Maybe a bug or this is an alert?

Very noisy short-term trace too. Looks even noisier than the previous version of software, but it is running the latest.

Also running 3 WUs simultaneously.

Strange.

Cheers,

Al.

thank you for your detailed response, Al
but we still do not know why the radioactivity levels sent by the detector increases ...

Cheers,
erik.

I'd say it's a problem with sensor hardware, the readings are jumping wildly between normal and over 2x higher levels.
Perhaps there is a contact problem between board and the tube, could you check that ? Just do not touch anything inside while the sensor is connected (dangerous voltages inside), disconnect it from USB and wait a few minutes before opening.

A big spike a little while ago. Must be a hardware problem.

The owner of the sensor is http://radioactiveathome.org/boinc/show_user.php?userid=5067 - Perhaps someone should contact them via PM?

Actually, I just sent them a PM referring to this thread :)

Cheers,

Al.

Is it possible in this case to return the detector to the project for troubleshooting?

Regards.

Yes, we can send you a new detector as replacement. Please write PM to me with your address and also please send your current detector to an address which I will write to you as an answer for this PM.
