Hello,
i run radioactive@home on a Raspberry Pi. Only when I restart the computer by unplugging the power supply (after shutdown via ssh), i receive this email:

Hello,

Your sensor connected to host 9694 currently runs in debug mode.
If you didn't set this on purpose, please go to your preferences at http://radioactiveathome.org/boinc/prefs.php?subset=project and disable the debug checkbox.
Debug mode is useful only when looking for hardware/software bugs/problems, otherwise it should be disabled.

This is an automated message from Radioactive@Home server.
If you have any questions, please visit our forums at http://radioactiveathome.org/boinc/forum_index.php

But i never activated debug mode...

Is only a temporary problem or needs to be resolved in some way?

Just to be clear, have you verified your setting at this link:
http://radioactiveathome.org/boinc/prefs.php?subset=project
You should see the following near the bottom:

Application/Sensor debug Disabled

Is yours showing disabled too?

I'm sure, the debug mode is disabled. See https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/110599811/Screen.png.

Do you have any idea?

I regularly get this email from the server and my only sensor is NOT in debug mode.

The server sent you a warning because there is something wrong with your host.

http://radioactiveathome.org/boinc/results.php?hostid=8073

Workunit runtimes are very short and for some reason the app tries to read data from the sensor every second instead of every 4 minutes. Could you try to reset the project ?

I have reset the project
I have unplugged the sensor and plugged it in again
I have rebooted the PC

It still runs these short tasks so I'm NNT for now.

This happened before and no-one responded. I tried some time later and it started working again.

Oh well...

Could you try to enable the debug mode ? Then the app will log more info, it might help to find the source of the problem.

OK, I gave it 2 hours which I hope is enough for you to figure out what the issue is.

I then put the sensor on an XP machine and it seems to be running fine.

Let me know if you want me to try anything else. I'd prefer to run on the Linux box rather than the XP machine.

Thanks

S.
