I have just upgraded my Linux PC OS from Mint 19 to Mint 20 and reinstalled the latest version of BOINC using the software manager (BOINC client version 7.16.6 for x86_64-pc-linux-gnu), then when I add the Radioactive@home project I am getting error message :

Wed 28 Jul 2021 11:27:09 BST | Radioactive@Home | Message from server: Radioactivity Monitor is not available for Linux running on an AMD x86_64 or Intel EM64T CPU.

This is strange, as it is exactly the same hardware as before, and it was running fine before I installed Mint 20. I don't really want to go back to Mint 19. Is there some way to force it to install the nci application for Linux running on an Intel x86-compatible CPU, which is what it was using before?
