Hi Radioactive@home Team,

we started a Distributed Ground Station Network project for BOINC project Constellation.
It's called Hackerspace Global Grid and perhaps you have seen some news and the youtube video of our presentation on 28c3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuwkzNjaPwc

We discussed, whether or not we could use our design to add some radioactive measuring hardware. The open taskfor it is here http://shackspace.de/wiki/doku.php?id=project:hgg:open_tasks#optional_features and I wanted to know, if you support other sensors than your own, or if you want to take part in this open tasks.
I think an exact timing for your measuring could be important for you as well.

Please let me know,

Andreas

PS: I named your project during my presentation section. I hope, you got some new visitors.

Hi Andreas,
We are interested in cooperation with your team and very eager to add the results of measurements made by your equipment to our project. Of course we will to work on a form of data exchange.
Of course, all information regarding our detectors are available on our website and you can use them freely (both: hardware and software).
Your presentation we also watched with interest, we are pleased that you mentioned also about us.

Hi krzyszp,

that's great to read.
We are trying to have hardware as modular as possible and one concept is to measure different things, and not only for our distributed ground station.
We started an own task for it listed here http://shackspace.de/wiki/doku.php?id=project:hgg:open_tasks#optional_features and I would invite you to influence this be actively designing the specs.
There is also an email list on https://lists.shackspace.de for discussing this in further details with all people interestedin the project.

I think it's a great way for collaboration.

see you on our email list, hupefully soon! :)

Andreas

Hi R@H team,

may I ask whether you are intersted in sponsoring our location event for NASAs Space Apps Challenge http://spaceappschallenge.org/location/shackspace with one or few of your kits to give them away as prizes for their apps?

just contact me, you will get mentions and links for it :). but it would be a nice gift for this citizen science hack-a-thon.

Hi,

okay, I just wanted to wait to be sure, that we will have particpants, and now we have some to give prizes and definetively yours!

Could you send it to my address:

Andreas HORNIG
PostNummer 40340242 Packstation 135

That would be nice. When you have other things, like poster and ads we can hang out in our shack, just put it in the package. we will be happy to promote your project and your kind gift.

I already did it on
http://aerospaceresearch.net/constellation/forum_thread.php?id=167

in emails, twitter and facebook will follow shortly.
on posters (you have seen one, but your URL was wrong, I fixed that on the final poster)

Is there anything more I can do?

best regards,

Andreas

Hi,

sure, that's just helping neighbouring boinc projects :).
hmmm ,do you have anything else then, that could be used to put into the goodiebags or put on tables, or stick it to walls?
and the logo will be nice, because "I did one" for all those poster here http://shackspace.de/gallery/index.php/tags/show/93 and can replace it for following posters.

hmmm, send the detector ASAP, because I will plug it to my laptop and will join ypur project for just some days ;) :D

bye and thanks!

Andreas
