Don't think I've ever seen this before, but I'm getting tasks marked as invalid. Can't see anything wrong with the returned results though.

I suspect the problem is that the IR is set to 2 on the failed ones (should be 1), and then I'm getting "Too many total results" ...

Here's a few:

http://radioactiveathome.org/boinc/workunit.php?wuid=249156
http://radioactiveathome.org/boinc/workunit.php?wuid=248598
http://radioactiveathome.org/boinc/workunit.php?wuid=248538
http://radioactiveathome.org/boinc/workunit.php?wuid=248495

Must be a server side problem.

Oh, just checked, and others are having the same problem :(

Cheers,

Al.

The "too many total results" is nothing unusual, all invalid/no sensor tasks are marked like this to prevent sending out another result.
The real problem is that the validator marks perfectly valid tasks as invalid for unknown reason. I've disabled the daemon for now, hopefully it'll be fixed later today.

Just a guess...

BOINC client truncates the stderr.txt file to the last x characters before uploading it to the server. My last uploaded stderr.txt begins

,10515,2012-3-6 9:15:40,832,n,0.384722
32940167,10528,2012-3-6 9:16:20,833,n,0.385185
32979727,10538,2012-3-6 9:16:59,834,n,0.385648

You can see the first line is not a proper line because the data before the , was truncated. Perhaps the validator does not like lines that begin with , or have less than 6 elements?

Validator doesn't care about stderr (which is there mainly for debugging), it reads the output file.
For now it's not known why it failed, it was restarted standalone with gdb and works fine.
