Posted 23 days ago by ![]() Might be something simple like USB Selective Suspend being active (and not working properly anyway). But, Win 11 is an absolute turd. I had endless problems with two brand new out of box laptops. Golden rule is: Block automatic updates immediately by setting your network connection to 'Metered'. It does like replacing drivers with generic ones that don't work with some hardware. |

Posted 27 days ago by ![]() Picking the latest returned WU (http://radioactiveathome.org/boinc/result.php?resultid=17462119), the sensor isn't found: Radac $Rev: 585 $ starting... Could not find any of the devices listed in sensors.xml: Device communication error Looked at a couple of others, and they are the same. Probably been fscked up by a Windows 11 driver update :) |

Living in a Hot spot ?
(Message 4179)
Posted 65 days ago by ![]() I think either I'm living in a hot spot south of Three Mile Island or something is not reported correctly :-). I just connected with a GQ GMC-300S and my spot on the map is red (only one) and states the 24-hour average is 24.96uSv/h, locally it's registering .07uSv/h to .20uSv/h-ish. The application page states Microsoft Windows (98 or later) running on an Intel x86-compatible CPU should be version 1.78 but my BOINC manager states Local: Radioactivity monitor 1.70 is this normal? Or is the monitor malfunctioning? Looking at your results, your counts don't typically go above 20. However, there is something weird in that the first count returned for every task is 53, which is pulling the average up. It's as if the first count is something fixed, like a version number or some calibration figure? Or just a bug. Random example: returned 53 0 Can't post the full results as the server claims it's spam. |

Posted 165 days ago by ![]() FYI, the up/down server status disabled is wrong, it's a server bug that makes (and has always) made it look disabled. Other projects that used this ancient version of server code had the same issue. Not relevant to the current problem. |
