Open Source all the things

Posted 3380 days ago by lolwut82 May i suggest to put the schematics for the geiger counters as open hardware on github and a link to e.g. OSHpark, fritzing, ... for ordering the pcb's. It would be also great to have the Firmware on github as well to simplify participation on code development. A link to a shopping card for the additional needed parts for digikey/mouser/... would also be great because it is a real pain to copy/paste the entries from the pdf :D A friend will create a nice image series of populating the 2.6 board once everything arrived. Thank! |

Cooperation with other Radiation maps?
(Message 3009)
Posted 3380 days ago by lolwut82 Hi, have you ever thought about integrating the urad project to any other radiation mapping project so in the end we have a single big map with all the radiation sensors on the world? have a look for example at http://blog.safecast.org/maps/ , they even have an easy to use api (http://api.safecast.org) which you could use for each measurement you receive. Other examples i found are: - http://radmon.org/ - http://www.uradmonitor.com/ Maybe there are even more, wouldn't it be great to have a single collector for all the radiation data? |
