I got my sensor earlier this month...but took me a while to get it setup....and now a week has passed since that....so, my sig can have two full traces in it :)
Only problem I'm having is that I want to turn backlight off on this new detector, but that turns off the display on older detector. (can't use different profile, because I use location profile to set whether BOINC runs all the time, or only when idle... or only at night....)

In my case, I ordered 1 in July 2012, got confirmation on August 19, 2012, sent payment on August 21, 2012, and then nothing.... I know I sent a PM asking if payment was received (because my boinc email address is different than my paypal address, but I did include message with boinc email address and mailing address with payment) and to confirm that I was still getting one...but haven't gotten a reply.
I only check on here whenever I happen to start boinc manager on my the machine with my v2 detector and see a new-ish notice from the project. Which isn't very often since its a 32-bit machine sitting in corner of storage room... (or if I get an automated email saying my detector has disappeared...)
I'm still hopeful that I'll have a computer at work to use v3 detector on when it finally does arrive.
Does the app work on FreeBSD?

Was playing around with the drawweekdotted.php chart option, and looking backwards through my trickles...when I spotted this interesting graph....
Maybe there was something around December 21st....

I got an email that my sensor was disconnected....no, its still there.
But, noticed that the app kept restarting. Finally tracked it down...and in stderr.txt it was saying every 11 seconds: "No heartbeat from client for 30 sec - exiting", and then restarting....

Looking back through my tasks...things were working with v1.69 up to Jan 11. When it got a v1.70...which ran 3 times longer than v1.69 and got 0 credits. And, then v1.72 which have all been failing with "Error While Computing".
Though compiling the 7.0.28 boinc_client for my Linux box seems to have it working again. They don't make it easy to find or build non-HEAD client_releases....(missing m4 and .h and .in files at the client_release_7.0.28 level) (the version from boinc.berkeley.edu needs newer libraries than 10.04.4LTS has...and there was some other reason that I needed to upgrade the 6.12.33 to keep running projects on this 32-bit server, but it continues to work fine on my 64-bit server) Also wasn't obvious that I couldn't checkout client_release_7.0.28 until after I had checked out client_release_7.0....
Anyways...seems downgrading to the recommended 7.0.28 seems better than the development 7.0.44 version....

Hopefully I'll still have a computer that I can run radioactiveathome at work, when the detector finally shows up....

Well, I've joined the map....near the middle of the US.
Home to a TRIGA Mark II Research Reactor 1250kW....I live about 1 mile west of it...
Wonder if I'd want to get another sensor to use at work....
If I were still living in Canada...I'd probably still have gotten a sensor, etc...
