| Description | The Jersey Shore boasts some of the most crowded trip spots going. But, one popular resort, The Wildwoods, is truly a happening place and worth the trip inspite of the crowds. A lot of this venerable beach area became popular in the 1950s with the opening of the Garden State Parkway and the Atlantic City Expressway.
