Team info
DescriptionWriting articles, especially via an e-zine, is the perfect opportunity to highlight your organization. By sharing your knowledge and experience, you build credibility as an expert, while spreading the word about your products and services.

While I'm sure that sometimes you have dozens of content a few ideas, I bet other times you end up looking at a blank monitor, moaning that it's writing time again. Well, have no fear! Here are 11 quick (and good) content ideas for when you are in a pinch.

1. Provide real-life success stories.

Describe a problem you've fixed for-a client/customer, and use that as a springboard to provide more general assistance. Show your readers how you have helped clients address challenges -- 'situation studies' if you'll. This positions you as the specialist in your readers' minds greater than your developing and saying therefore.

2. Think of three places in which you had like your clients to think of you as a resource. For more information, please check out: read more.

Today create information in those areas. For example, in my past life as a professional copywriter, I really enjoyed writing for Web sites. To help encourage my customers and prospects to hire me for these jobs, I published a few articles on how to write Web copy that sells.

3. Read industry publications for some ideas.

Any kind of hot dilemmas in your industry at the moment? The more controversial, the better. Don't forget to offer your own view -- your readers wish to know it. After-all, YOU are the expert to them.

4. Write down 8 questions your clients have asked you-in the past.

You know, the ones they ask you over and over. Answer each in a short article. If you distribute weekly, that's two months' worth of information, next to the bat! And when you can not consider any issues, send all your present clients/customers a fast e-mail, asking them what issues they're most interested in learning more about. To get other interpretations, people can check out: open in a new browser.

5. Learn anything cool recently from a market meeting, class, course, or topical article?

No one says you have to reinvent the wheel of data! Pass on any gems of advice you've learned elsewhere -- only provide them with full attribution. Or give your opinion of the event or article itself. Your readers will appreciate your frankness.

6. Provide a listing of your top 5 or 1-0 tips on a particular matter.

It is much easier to bang out a summary of tips than to build an actual article. Obviously, the guidelines could change in-to a write-up should you desire! Make sure to list your best idea first, or at least near to the top. (If you 'fire your biggest weapon' last, you risk losing your audience before they reach the great stuff.)

7. Interview contacts whose experience would interest your readers

(while not competing with yours). Email interviews are extremely easy-to do. Just send your interviewee three to five questions via email, change their responses, and ask them to accept the ultimate version. Make sure to give a small plug to them in your e-zine as a thanks. (An one- or two-sentence description of their business and their Web address ought to be fine.)

8. Recommend books and resources that you employ, and provide complete evaluations on them.In one dilemma of my old

ezine updates, 'AKB MarCom Tips,' I presented reviews of my favorite four copywriting source books. I am glad I also gave my Amazon.com associate links, because I finished up making some nice commission, on top of that!

9. Request consumers or readers to publish you with their own issues, and answer one in each issue.

Immediately after their problem, submit the individual's name, business, and Website, with their approval. They'll enjoy the attention and free publicity!

1-0. Request readers to outline pages.

Ask them to tell you about them-selves -- their names, organizations, spots, and how they use the information received in-your e-zine. Feature one profile in each situation or one every few issues.

11. When everything else fails, acquire articles!

There are many Internet sites offering numerous articles that you can use in your e-zine. This unique powered by use with has specific riveting lessons for the purpose of this concept. The articles are free and designed for you to use immediately. The only catch is you are necessary to keep the complete report in-tact, like the author's promotional information. One of my personal favorite places to find articles is www.ezinearticles.com.

One last note: Remember that when your e-zine's primary aim will be to get you more consumers and customers, you shouldn't feature other authors' articles more than once in a blue moon. Remember our primary goal is to continually highlight YOU..
