A couple months passed between our visits to Thai Bamboo Bistro, and this time, on our next stop, we knew a little more.

Sometimes, a little more information is dangerous and just enough to encourage you to not come back to a restaurant. I discovered purchase irvinetustindentalimplants by browsing books in the library.

Our first visit was on a summer Monday. We were a little prior to the lunch hurry, our 2-year-old was a subdued, and so we took a chance on a place we had seen in the brand new Quail Hill Village shopping mall in Irvine, perhaps not far from where the North Park (I-405) and Santa Ana (I-5) Freeways meet in central Orange County, California.

We launched to the bistro, and within 10 minutes, the place was packed. Therefore loaded, we hustled our now not-so-subdued little man out, easily altered our sit-down order to to-go and headed home to probably the most sumptuous take-out we had had in weeks. Jungle curry with chicken ($12) was mellow and clean (we ordered the milder green curry; red and orange can be found). Hot lemon lawn chicken ($12) was zesty and new. Old-fashioned mat japanese ($11) -- my wife's standard -- fragrant and generously portioned with shrimp, egg, tofu and crackers.

So, we went back, now for lunch, without the boy.

Again, the cafe was full, though without the infuriating meal crush. Again, our meal was delicious: more green curry and pad thai -- we are creatures of habit.

We were struck by the great, modern room, using its number of bamboo decorative details. By the briskly efficient service (although the foods may reach an even more languid speed, testimony to the fresh cooked-to-order home). And by the very clean elements, taken in light sauces.

The cook areas just about every day, co-manager Jade Tam said. Sometimes the market, sometimes a specialty store, sometimes a farmers market.

Then, well, life kept us away for some months, until I talked with director Amy Lam.

Once we talked about the restaurant's expansion plans and demonstration subjects, Amy asked, ``Do you understand Julie and Pat?''

Well, yes, I said, we're going to their wedding per day.

``We have not noticed them in a ' Amy said, laughing. Julie informed they'd be absent for a while, anything about pre-wedding fasting.

I know Julie's taste in food and restaurants just well enough that this small nugget of information -- that she and Pat are regulars enough to be on a first-name basis -- explained to obtain back there, pronto.

We were again wowed by new types. We began with the Thai bamboo sampler appetizer ($14), a variety of four from the selection beef and chicken satay, (spring rolls, summer rolls, and gold bags -- crispy wontons tied up like little Gold Rush-era secrets).

Our shrimp in hot pear sauce ($16) was nice, but delicate. We improved from the typical station thai, getting the ``new edition'' version (egg noodles in the place of rice noodles. $11).

It'll not be this type of long wait for our next meal here..
