The burden voltage in microamp and milliamp current ranges is very small, which is important for accuracy: shunt resistance of 100Ohms for uA ranges and 1 Ohm for mA ranges. Another excellent feature that differentiates this multimeter from others is its quick response time and fast power up. Resistance measurements are especially fast, lots of other meters take 5 seconds or more before the resistance value is displayed. This speed does not come at the expense of precision, most of its resistance ranges are accurate to 0.5 % (1.5 % above 6MOhm). The multimeter also features audible continuity check and diode test function, and a non-contact voltage detect function. This feature is useful for voltage detection in power cords, circuit breakers, electrical fixtures, outlets and switches (bar display and beeper.). The ennoLogic eM860T True RMS multimeter is compliant with IEC 61010-1:2001, CAT III 1000V and CAT VI 600V overvoltage standards. Durable sturdy housing with protective rubber sleeve provides mechanical protection.
