| Description | I'm always cold. Even in July. Especially in January. So I wear a down coat around all the time. In our home. In the back trails. On camping journeys. Zipping through Amazons selection of ski jackets I happened on Flylow's Betty Down coats. It's a Great ol' quality puffy coat, keeps me uber warm as a layer under my shell jacket. Adorable enough to put on around anywhere. The blue color is outstanding! Awsome perk to this puffy is it has pit zips, such an outstanding idea for a puffy. I use this in a size small so it fits well under my shell, however I might easily put on a medium in this jacket too. The puffy is a thicker puffy than let's say Patagonia's nano puffy, hence why I 'd use a size smaller to fit better under my shell jacket. I'm 5'5. I used to speak highly of Patagonia's Down Coat, which I liked because it was packable and yet still very warm. But it didn't have a hood, which was my only grievance. I love hoods. Flylow's Betty Down fixes that problem, and it's still super light-weight and package (you can certainly fit it in your backcountry pack on a hike).. |
