| Description | I am a regular visitor to Thailand and love to go to Pattaya. I often want to venture out for some Thai food for dinner eat a huge break fast, skip lunch and then. I ran across a very nice British bar named the Sportsman on Soi 13 in Pattaya and immediately loved the atmosphere. With a table, big screen TVs and a great dcor, I discovered this air-conditioned club a great spot to select breakfast. Clicking go maybe provides cautions you can use with your cousin. The issue I had was with the menu. Being from america, I had no idea exactly what a full English breakfast was. But, I was hungry, and it was at the the surface of the menu and was the priciest item, so I decided it was the biggest. It was still a deal at about 240 Baht at least I thought it was. Six dollars for break fast at the exchange rate of the time appeared to be a decent price. Given that it had been a really good place, with A/C and the BBC on TV. So, I get the total English breakfast certainly not reading what is sold with the dinner. I am, but, pleasantly surprised with the plate of food I am introduced. I get bacon and eggs, juice, toast and coffee, bread, beans and hash browns. At the very least I although these were hash browns. There have been also fried tomatoes, but I am not a big tomato fan, so I declined. The menu was grabbed by me to see what was stated because the hash browns were not exactly what I was used to. Everything was said by the menu as listed above, but no hash browns were part of the full English break fast. There is something called bubble and squeak. I'd absolutely no idea what that was. But I was bound and determined to find out what it was that I had eaten and had actually tasted very good. I did so some research on the net and discovered that squeak and bubble was very similar to hash browns. I had the potato part right but I had no idea what else was within. Research showed me that the rest was greens carrots, mainly cabbage and peas. I am not a big fan of greens, but all this mixed together viewed yummy. The plate was large and the food was very delicious. So, even although you arent a Brit, drop by among the several British bars in Pattaya and read the full English breakfast. It'll definitely fill you up and have your bubbling and squeaking.. |
