Your personal background. |
I'm just your mostly-regular 45 year-old guy living on the eastern seaboard of the USA. I've recently had two strokes in 2011 and my life outlook has changed slightly to say the least. I like Photography quite a bit, collecting old radio's and I do some eBay occasionally. I have several computers, more than one person needs actually and at one point I was thinking of building a cluster computer. (still might.) I also run OSx 10.5.8 Leopard on a Dual 2Ghz G5 PowerPC(Pre-intel processor), Windows XP Pro and Vista and Ubuntu Linux. |
Your opinions about Radioactive@Home |
1. I want to start contributing more to society than I have; computers have much more potential in the hands of citizens than we allow them to have. Games and the internet just don't cut it for me anymore.
2. I think monitoring radiation levels world-wide is an important endeavor, very useful for the planet and the Human Race.
3. I wish there were more updates about detectors, I still don't have one. |
