I notice that when you look up a persons profile, it will show badges earned for the project. It appears the first one is available at 10k points. Is there a list anywhere of all the badges? Also is it possible that a persons badges show up under their name somewhere in the forum when they post?

Just a little something that might spark up some friendly competetion between folks.

Finally, is there a way to run Boinc / R@H on a HTC phone? (android)

Thank you.

I will answer for last question as server stuff are TJM's domain :)

We have made loads of experiments with Android devices and it's possible (but without warranty) that soon Android app will be available under NativeBOINC manager (look at http://krzyszp.info).

On this stage, I can give you some requirements:

1. Android device have to be equipped with USB OTG port. I know that Samsung Galaxy S2 have it, but don't know about other mobiles. Most tablets (including cheap ones) have it.
2. System must be minimum 3.1, but I have only tested detector visibility with 4.0.3 (haven't device with OS 3.1 to test).
3. Additional power source maybe will be required - still under testing.

Currently we still have problem with port access permissions but I hope we sort it...

Ps. Look at this host ;)

Thanks because I just pre ordered their newest smart phone and it would be cool if we could use it for the project.

External power, hmm, like putting a battery in the thing in the spare area on the detector. That is definately doable, I might even put a switch on it to turn it on and off. Im thinking a little lipo might work. USB is what 5 volt? What is the lowest volts this thing will work reliably on?

Is there an answer to the badge questions?

The silver one is for 100k credits and gold for 500k if I remember correctly. The rest is not implemented yet as it will take a while to go there anyway.

I'm adding the badges to the forum code right now.
