Your opinions about Radioactive@Home
I like this project. Not only is it just interesting and 'neat' but a persons radiation absorption is a very vital thing to know!!

Given the recent tragedy in Japan it has become clearly evident that it doesn't matter what your political views are or what country you live in; government can NOT be trusted to tell you the truth, especially in a time of crisis!

If there was an accident or an attack somewhere, you will not be able to rely on the officials for accurate info. This is a way for people to take responsibility for their own well being and see first hand, real time, what the truth about radiation exposure is.

There is no real 'public' data about the radiation cloud from the Japan accident. Im sure somebody knows the extent of exposure but we sure don't.

Now let's take a group of like minded individuals such as ourselves, looking to benefit society, who have detectors hooked to a grid, such as we do. Now let's take a world map that shows 'spots' of monitoring. As that cloud starts spreading, on a well populated grid, you will SEE what is happening but more importantly WHERE it is happening.

You will know if you are in the path of danger, when it will hit you, how bad it will be, where you can go to get out of the path of danger.

If you wait until your hair starts falling out to leave the area, it's already too late. If you have a few days notice of an impending radioactive cloud, you can get yourself and family well out of the area before it harms you.
