Hello everybody!

I have since the end of March 2012, a sensor in operation. At my place there is an official measuring station at which I can compare the measurements. Since the beginning, the sensor shows too high values.

According to my observations, the deviation is between +0.028 and +0.035 µS/h (average: 0,032 µS/h). The high values of the sensor is almost always above the limit for my region (= 0.120 µS/h). Changes in the values up or down are almost identical (say 95%) with the official measuring station.

If you want to have a look, follow the links:
My private station: http://www.wetter.debastiani.de/html/radioaktivitat.html
Official station: http://odlinfo.bfs.de/cvdata/082260960.php

I tested the sensor already at various locations, all of them were in the house. Result: no improvement.

As a last try I will hang the sensor out of the window.

Does anyone have any idea what I can try next?
Is there somewhere a way to enter a correction factor?

Am grateful for any help
Olivier

It could be because the sensor tube is unshielded so it's slightly sensitive to weaker radiation.
At the place where I live the shielded SBM-20-1 reads 0.115 avg (7 days sample) while unshielded SBM-20 averages around 0.126, sometimes even 0.127.
