Hi,

today I had a look to all sensors. Why shows sensor 8027 such high values - a test?
Sensor 12450 shows allways high values - a malfunction?

Good idea to make a world wide sensor net!!!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Germany

Looks like typical diurnal variation through the sensor being left in strong sunlight - The sensors are temperature sensitive.

For ID 8027, there is an explanation here

I don't think the sensor gets direct sunlight(not home at the moment to check) but it's in a hot room (my garage) with four full-time crunching systems in the immediate vicinity.

There has been cyclic high readings from sensor 12450 in Hong Kong China since last November. Owner philip-in-hongkong hasn't posted since connecting, so I don't expect my private message to his R@H inbox will be seen soon. Has an attempt been made by the Admins to contact him? Maybe his detector has a problem and should be logged as 'experiment mode' so it does not mislead map users?

Philip if you see this please let the community help you rectify the problem.
