| As it seems far cheaper than ordering an Arduino-to-Raspberry shield, an Arduino sensor plus Geigerteller (see http://radioactiveathome.org/boinc/forum_thread.php?id=476), | |

| I saw the other thread on http://radioactiveathome.org/boinc/forum_thread.php?id=476 and agree with Norbert, that should work with Radmon but not Radioactive@home. It looks a neat solution if you don't want to solder anything though. The GM tube can be connected with readily available connector cables with a crocodile clip on each end, it doesn't have to be soldered to the board (and I wouldn't advise soldering directly to the GM tube anyway, unless you're used to soldering and happy to replace it if you break it). | |

| Looks like my Raspberry Pi2 developed a slightly corrupted SD-card -it had started some days before the sensor was connected. | |

| why you don't set wu runtime to 0.5 hours ? You see results within 30 minutes... | |

| I have patience, I also run projects where it takes weeks (e.g. RNA world) to complete a WU... | |

| Manually altering the content of 'sensors.xml' does not seem to work: after 'update project' the extra lines about the 2.61 sensor vanish..... | |

| You already try to remove the sensor and plug it in another USB port ? | |

| You already try to remove the sensor and plug it in another USB port ? Just for the sake of it I tried a USB 3.0 port instead of a 2.0 port, Windows now seems to keep seeing the sensor... | |
