Hi, despite running and completing tasks I have been receiving no credit. I am also not on the map despite my account telling me I am !

I have reset, restarted pc, changed usb and as a last resort today I have removed and re-added the project as once again I had 2 tasks running simultaneously.

So something wrong with your sensor, USB cable ...

Do you know anyone with a Linux computer who can plug it in for you and run the LSUSB command to see what it reports back? I don't think there's an equivalent in Windows, or at least not as supplied, you'd have to download a program from somewhere to do it.
There are some users running Windows 10 who are getting credits, so there must be some way to get it working. Could be what Al said, hope it didn't get fried when your last PC blew up!
