I am realy interested in this project. I live in a remote are of the Pacific Northwest in the United States in Washington state. I am 60 and disabled, I have the skill set to construct you geiger but not the hands. I purchased for under $100 a GQ GMC-300E-Plus Digital Geiger Counter Nuclear Radiation Detector which can connect to the computer. I may need help with the specifics. I will be getting the device in a couple of days. If there is anyone who can help me, my email is realnosal@yahoo.com or realnosa@gmail.com if you are worried about security. thank you

Ya ta Hey Greg

Well, there's a long thread on this here: http://radioactiveathome.org/boinc/forum_thread.php?id=160 but it doesn't look like anyone has got one working with this project :(

It does mention some other sites that it might be easier to work with though, I'll repeat them here:

http://www.gmcmap.com/
http://www.netc.com/
http://www.radmon.org/
