I'm not sure what you mean.

The map is still on the main page: http://radioactiveathome.org/map/

Your individual devices can be added to the map, but they have to return one valid work unit first before the option appears at the bottom of the details page of the host on your account.

There is no map in the account page any more, and it's impossible to set the coordinates interactive.
You can insert them manually in the fields below the non-map, but they never appear there. And your device only shows up on the mentioned map after some time, probably over night or so, can't say what timezone that night is in.

Does the manual method not work?

http://radioactiveathome.org/boinc/forum_thread.php?id=499&nowrap=true#4046

No, it doesn't. I can insert what I want, it doesn't change anything. Neither under Windows/Chrome nor under Linux/FF.

I did work, it just never ever did show up on my computer's detail page. No map and no coordinates there, but after a wee while my detector showed up on the map. Worked as well as I moved the detector to my new computer (same place, just faster, but that's irrelevant here), but only the next day, not asap.

Patience you must have.

Yes, but at least the coordinates should be possible to insert

I have four fields, the first two empty. What am I supposed to give in as data?

I should insert N 53° 03.717' E 008° 48.674' (or whatever form the coordinates are supposed to have:

  • 53.06194417,8.81121925 Dez.-Grad
  • N53 03.717 E008 48.673 Grad Min.
  • N53° 03' 42.999" E008° 48' 40.389" Grad Mn Sk
  • 32U E 487349 N 5879178 UTM
  • 32UMD E 87349 N 79178 MGRS
  • X 980860 Y 6994464 Merc. WGS
  • X 979763 Y 6986637 Merc. Falk
  • X HQ0T7 Y RT98Q NAC
  • R 3487416 H 5881091 GK
  • JO43JB74IU QTH
  • u1qmbe8h GeoHash
  • 9F5C3R66+QFH OLC / Plus

But unfortunately it's impossible.

Hello, since weeks the map is completely blind.

I would like to ask for an alternate procedure to add a new location to a sensor on the map. Is it possible to put in GPS coordinates somewhere?

When will this be fixed? I keep getting email telling me to set the location. But that is not possible anymore.

Don't expect any fast reaction, look at this thread, they've got some problems, and apparentyly are short on devs.
