I had to change detectors. Hmm now to see why this one quit working.

Thank you, lets see if this fixes it.

I have my computer running with the detector. Two of them actually but am not getting any credits for the jobs completed?

Wondering what changed?

Thank you

You are going to see some hard hits on my detector today. I was using an XRF and aimed it at the detector to see what would happen. Yep it works :D

It does sound interesting. A few things. In the USA with the nutjobs we have, the moment it surpasses .10 uSv/min they'd probably go screaming to homeland security that we are being attacked by Poland. A bit of education might also be in order so that the clueless Amerikeets don't wet themselves because they are totally ignorant what the numbers mean.

With that said, a big display, such as how? A big LCD or something? That could get expensive no? How about a small app, since the detector already needs a computer to run, that displays the numbers big and wide on a regular display? This way it shows on whatever monitor that is hooked to the computer running the thing. With an app, it's not going to be an extra piece of hardware to play with, and EVERYONE who has a detector can show it off.

I think you would get a lot more exposure this way. Not a programmer myself but you do have a data stream on the USB coming from the detector, how hard would it be to do a very crude V basic, or whatever language is 'in' today, and hook to that datastream and just translate if necessary and display that?

Just thinking out loud.

Chertsey you can set the time a task runs in your preferences. I believe they can run as short as about half an hour or as long as a day?

Anyways, yes the points are consistant with run time overall.

Hey there.
No special drivers are needed. Just plug it in.

Once the project has returned a valid result you need to goto the map and move the location to where your detector is located at to get full credit.

make sure you turned buzzer off on the profile you are actually using for yours and sometimes a reboot is necessary for it to fully take affect.

Welcome to the project and have fun.

I have all my hosts pretty much set up on the same profile.

I am noticing that some of them are only getting about half credit for completed units? 1.56 instead of 3 points or so.

They are doing the same work, why is this?
