I have created very, very simple app for android devices to show our map on mobile screen.
It's currently tested on my SGS2 and have some bugs, if you like to run it under your phone... just try - it cost nothing ;)

Small update. Some bugs fixed, now application is in Google Play market.

I have updated application in google play, now its use GPS to zoom map to your position and also detectors icons are bigger (easier to 'clik').

If I zoom out of the map, the map will shrink in the upper left corner and won't fill the whole screen.
Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100) with Gingerbread (2.3.4) android.

IIRC the old version worked fine.

Strange, this not happened on my SGSII, but I have Android 4.0.4, anyway, I will check that and also improve visible area scaling and set default for more sensible values than "0,0" :)

Hello Krzysztof,

many thanks for the Android app. and that you now offer it with the QR-code label on Google-play market.
On my SmartPhone 'HTC Desire S' with Android version 2.3.5 I was now able to install the app. very quickly, comfortably and almost fully automated. Before (without QR code) I couldn't be successfull with many tries.

For the first version of the app. really is a already great hit - congratulations!
It works very quickly and shows me nearly everything how and what I want.

The problems, which "Saenger" describes, not arises here with my HTC.

A desire for a future version I've yet:
The app.-display now covers, unfortunately, the all-important status bar at the top of the screen. That normally shows all the current state of the logos and short messages.
Can you change it so that the line, that one can draw with your finger tip down, is to be seen always?
________________________________________________

Something I have noticed but it is not so important:
When I start the app. in horizontal mode, the display remains empty till I close it again (perhaps it is due to my version of Android?)
When I start the app. in vertical mode, it works just fine and I can then turn it in the landscape mode (see the photo at the bottom).

The 1000 minutes chart does not appear (like in the PC version), at least I have not found it - may be it is still not implemented?

I hope that you can do something with these informations and that they can help you to develop your great app.

Thanks for feedback :)

I have made some fixes in application and now map scaling should works fine. I have tested id on my SGS2 and 7" tabled (v. 1.42).

In next version I would like to uncover status bar, the only problem is that on different devices it have different size (as far as I know - maybe I'm wrong).

Charts are not implemented yet but I would think about it.
What else feature will be welcome? What do you like to see on mobile?

Obviously, this is pretty simple app for now, as is (mainly) only display our map on screen, but I'm really not experienced in Android programming but nice feature can kick me to get some more practice ;)

Thank you Krzysztof,

for your further development of the Android app. Now I can start it in horizontal mode, without having to use the vertical mode before.

Thanks for feedback :)
What else feature will be welcome? What do you like to see on mobile?

As requested at the moment I find the following:
When I click in the map on my green dot then appears the flag, included are the specifications of my sensor. Of these I am particularly interested the details:
"Load sensor measurement: ..." and
"Last 24 hours average: ..."
Would it be possible to represent these two values in an ever-present window (similar to the system time), as a kind of "sleeping" page of the RA-app?
Of course I would have to enter the corresponding, desired sensor number (in my case 1756) before!

After an upgrade to 4.0.4 everything's fine here now, so probably just a problem with Gingerbread.

Hello Krzysztof,

Is it possible to advance the smartphone application to notify in real time if a sensor on the worldmap returned a value higher than 0.8mSH?

Application on Google Play store are updated with new features :)
Full list of currently (means - in last 24 hours) detectors sorted by username in project.

"LongClick" on any user shows next screen, with detector details:

Both those screens are currently doesn't corectly scale when you turn device vertically - will be fixed soon.

Also I will add "monitoring" for selected detectors in next step.

Sometimes is difficult to 'click' on dot - maybe this is a reason?
Also on map is added button (Advanced) to show clickable list of active detectors.

About alarms.
What will be better way - work on background on mobile or creating a service on my server and work 'off-line'? What you would prefer?

Not sure who the last posting was aimed at/for, but I'm just trying to get the map to just display, even if I try to move it, it keeps going back to where it started at, and the advance button should be in the options area, keeps coming up over the map, I just want the map to show up like it does here on the internet and be able to click on any of the stations shown and be able to put in a station via ID of which I tried to do but it showed the data for it, but is it suppose to go to it on the map as well? Also looking for the app still to try my GQ GMC unit with since its still taking for ever to get a sensor from there. What is missing, can kits be sent out, missing the parts if its something simple, reduced price and let us finish it up and get them going? If this was a choice, then there would be a lot more of us out here online already..

Message 2173 - Posted: 9 Jan 2014 | 13:21:47 UTC - in response to Message 2165.

I have fixed this (map displaying).

I have discovered recently, that on some devices GPS supply different location even if you not move your phone/tablet and on this occasion map was reloaded...

The reason for reload map when location change was start to develop "moving map", but this is bad idea...

Today, I have received first payment (£2.28) from Google Play for "donated" version for my Radioactive@Home Map application ;)

Thank you to those who bought this program in particular, that it has no additional features in compare to the free version.

Thank you :)

Apologise for this, but some new stuff in the code requires access to the part of system which exists in Android from v.4.0...
